Celtic Working Platforms Ltd. formed in 2019 when Donal Carlin left a Dublin based partnership to pursue alternative business opportunities.

Donal, recognising the decades of experience garnered by the previous workforce immediately rehired former employees and set about structuring the new business to achieve his vision.

​

Alongside fellow director, Sean McManus, CWP has expanded from industrial scaffolding into the civil sector. Working from our base in Cavan, we cover the entire island of Ireland.

 

A permanent industrial scaffolding crew services Mannok Cement and Encirc Glass on a round the clock basis.  

 

Historically, the business primarily undertook industrial and conservation projects which involved the more specialist tube and fitting model, but the new operation now utilises standard scaffolding models such as kwikstage to provide cost effective and speedy access solutions as well as more expansive scaffolding opportunities.

Where required we supply scaffolding design drawings in partnership with consulting civil and structural engineers, Cavehill Associates Ltd.

 

All employees are trained to a high standard and are proud to raise the scaffolding bar to achieve our ambitions.

 

In this regard constant refresher courses are undertaken involving Health & Safety, Scaffolding permits, Plant permits etc.

 

From one-off new build houses and extensions to larger local authority housing schemes, school and office builds, Celtic Working Platforms has established a strong place in the local construction business.
